Jamilia Tanai Trendlor Anderson p/k/a Jamilia Hall began her performing career 16 yrs previous, at The Edwin Holland School of Dance in Miami, Fl. Eager to pursue her dreams, she relocated to NYC to receive the intense training needed to take these dreams to the next level, and since then Jamilia has done just that.
Attending Long Island University, Jamilia graduated Salutatorian of her 2004 class, receiving her B.F.A. in dance studies. From the beginning of her professional career she has been a stand out performer appearing in music videos, touring internationally with an all female professional Hip Hop dance company entitled “DecaDance,” dance magazine articles, Broadway workshops and sailing with Carnival Cruise Lines as a female production singer.
Along with her knack for performing, Jamilia has choreographed for major acts, independent artists and competitive Hip Hop dance teams. Having a love for music, Jamilia took a break from performing to record her own music for her E.P. entitled “The Beginning” released in 2013. When She is not performing, she teaches Hip Hop dance to kids ages 6-18yrs and is the C.E.O. of The Jam Band LLC that provides live entertainment for Weddings and Corporate events.
